Dots and Skills is now live with its first version, designed to support the holistic development of children through structured, pedagogically grounded tasks. With a focus on creativity, critical thinking, and self-awareness, this initial release lays the foundation for an engaging and meaningful learning experience. Here are the key features included in version 1.0:
Daily Task System
Children receive one task per day. Each task can be completed through drawing, writing, or voice recording. Tasks are customized based on age group and targeted skill category.
Development Across Eight Core Skills
Every task is aligned with one or more of the following skill domains:
Creative Mind
Problem Solving
Art and Literature
Communication
Entrepreneurship
Mathematics
Being a Good Person
Technology and Science
This structure ensures balanced development across cognitive, social, and emotional areas.
Instant Feedback and Scoring
After each task is submitted, the child receives personalized written feedback and a fair score out of 100. This feedback system promotes reflection and supports learning through constructive, age-appropriate guidance.
Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports
The app generates weekly and monthly progress summaries, helping families track growth across different skill areas over time.
History Page
All completed tasks are archived and can be filtered by category or date. This allows children and parents to revisit earlier responses, observe changes, and reflect on progress.
Progress Page
Children can view their overall average score, percentile ranking, skill levels by category, earned badges, and preferred development focus areas. This page offers a clear, personalized map of their learning journey.
Parental Resources
Carefully selected books, films, and educational videos are available for parents. These resources are designed to help families better understand child development and support learning at home.
This first version of Dots and Skills marks the beginning of a platform that turns everyday interactions into opportunities for growth. With each task, each reflection, and each feedback moment, children move closer to their full potential.
